International Economics, University of California at Berkeley , 1990 EXPERIENCE Mr. Bahram Motamedian serves as Business Administrator and financial manager of Farhad Niroumand-Rad Architects. He is also responsible for site and environmental assessment, and economic and financial analysis of real estate market for FNRA projects. Mr. Motamedian, after a brief period at Zethus, Inc., Houston , TX , joined Farhad Niroumand-Rad Architects. At Zethus, he had been involved in the management team to build a start-up Internet company with a mission to change the nature of real estate transactions by creating an exchange platform for commercial leasing and sales transactions. Conceptualized the automation, standardization and migration of landlords, tenants, and brokers to the web. Worked closely with early adopter clients to understand and define their needs and their seamless integration in the Zethus business-to-business (B2B) platform. Led the efforts in securing a viable national real estate database, which resulted in the development of acquisition plans for Realty IQ (a database aggregator). Mr. Motamedian was Global Acquisitions Manager of Hines, Houston , TX . During 1995 to 2000 he Played a leading role in Hines' international expansion strategy. He was responsible for marketing, raising and co-managing the Emerging Markets Real Estate Funds I & II, totalling $850 million of domestic and international institutional equity. Developed and trained a fund management team of eight real estate and accounting professionals. Evaluated and rendered judgment on the real estate market conditions and investments in the U.S. as well as in 11 countries that Hines made a sizable investment in the past 5 years. Evaluated, financed, and was involved in operating new real estate development and acquisition projects in six new countries. Organized, managed, and delivered some of the largest Hines' investor relations meetings and road shows in the U.S. and abroad. Progressively developed, for three years, the program and the agenda for Hines International Aspen Roundtable for investors every year- key note speakers included James Baker III, and Henry Kissinger.
