Basic design concept was to create an open kitchen that can be seen from dining area and upgrade existing electric service and ventilation system of the kitchen. Structural modification to the building was also required to create a uniform open space between kitchen and dining area. The area separating kitchen and dining area is designed with interwoven orange fabric canopies in and out of the kitchen and dining area in south-eastern style.
The space planning of the 475 square feet kitchen is done to facilitate the circulation and movement of staff and food between kitchen and dining area. The space created allows dining customers to be entertained by observing the cooking process from the dining area. |
